Your Feast Begins Here
Welcome to Canuck Kitchen Recipes! Recipes are usually the backbone of most food blogs. After all, who doesn’t enjoy flipping through pages and pages of delicious looking stuff? From main dishes and desserts to beverages and themed foods, my goal is to make this your one-stop-shop for all things food and drink.
I know it’s basically impossible to have every single recipe in the world and every single variation, but I do want to have a pretty damn good collection. I also want to encourage my fellow wizards to take a stab at developing recipes too, once you feel more comfortable in the kitchen.
As always, I do appreciate and value any feedback. If there’s a recipe you’d love to see, have a family recipe you’d like to share, or if you’d like to collaborate, then please give me a shout!
Recipe Format – Your Handy Dandy Guide
For easy access and reading, I’ve decided to have most of my recipes follow a standard format.
First, you’ll see the recipe card, which can also be printed out for easy access. Next, I have tips and tricks associated with the recipe that’ll help you get optimal results. After that, we have the “Side Pieces”. This is just a list of side dishes and/or drinks that compliment the recipe. If it’s applicable, some recipes will also have a Vegan Corner, which will tell you what modifications to make to make the recipe vegan or vegetarian. Next, you’ll see a section with “Variations” or “Optional Mix-ins”. This will show you other ways to make the recipe by adding different ingredients, flavours, etc. At the end of the post, if applicable, I’ll also have similar posts and recipes listed.
