I’m sure it’s a well-known fact that I love coffee. It gives me the will to live on a daily basis. If you come up to me and say, “Hey, you wanna grab a coffee?” I’ll already be at the designated meeting point by the time you’re only halfway through that question. I will never say no to this delicious creation crafted by godly hands. I can’t even tell you the number of times I’ve driven past Font Coffee Bar and told myself I’m going to go there sometime. Well, it took forever, but I finally achieved that goal.
It’s Coffee Time at Font Coffee Bar
Font Coffee Bar is located right off Highway 20 in Fonthill. It’s right front and center in a type of strip mall. Basically, what I’m trying to say is that it’s pretty easy to spot from the main road. A fair warning though, parking can be kind of a pain. I was lucky enough to get a spot, literally the only spot left, so thank you, universe. It’s pretty surprising how crammed full the parking lot is, considering it was early in the AM. But anyway, why focus on the negative, am I right?
There’s a front and back entrance. I decided to take the road less traveled and head to the back entrance. The vibe surrounding Font Coffee Bar is so unique that I have a hard time putting it into words. It’s a cozy Hallmark movie ambiance, but still has touches of luxurious elegance and a homey atmosphere. It’s romantic but also upscale, and it’s something you really just have to experience for yourself. Bring a date here because it’s a phenomenal spot.

I love all kinds of coffee in all shapes, from mochas to Americanos, to cappuccinos, and everything in between. Lattes and iced coffee have a special spot in my heart, though, and it’s my go-to order when out and about. What better way to spend a fantastic Friday than roaming about with a Butterscotch Caramel Latte in hand? The drink was pure perfection, and I think I found my soulmate in liquid form. The barista was extremely friendly, and my drink was made in no time. I will definitely be back for more! This place is my newest obsession. In fact, I was so excited that when I went back to my car, I spilled some on my seat trying to stick my latte in the cupholder. Oops. Thankfully, a lot could still be salvaged, and my car seat had a much-needed refresher too. Guess fabric gets thirsty, too.

Weekend Shenanigans
This section is two weeks late, sorry, but hey, better late than never. To kick off the summer, I decided to treat myself to endless lattes and greenery. Ok, that’s a bit of an exaggeration. Two of my favourite places are The Watering Can in Vineland and Nature’s Corner in Ridgeville. Let’s dive in, baby.
Nature’s Corner Cafe
I did cover Nature’s Corner previously for a bit. You can find that post here. I found this place by accident and it’s had me in a chokehold ever since. If a cafe has “I just spent an entire crisp fall day in Vermont at the pumpkin patch, witchy shops, and now I’m going to this cozy cafe” vibe, then I’m all over it. This is Nature’s Corner in a nutshell. It’s on a corner right next to a shop selling antiques and all kinds of nostalgic trinkets and eclectic finds.

They have a wide variety of drinks (hot and iced) as well as the most adorable selection of baked goods. I ordered a vanilla latte made with oat milk, and they sprinkled some cinnamon on top. It’s usually my go-to drink when I’m there. Ended up embarking on an adventure afterwards, and it was a day well spent. Check out the Nature’s Corner website here.

The Watering Can
I highly recommend having a large available balance on your credit card before heading to The Watering Can in Vineland. It’s really hard not to spend your life savings on plants, bakery, and drinks. One of my goals is to have my entire home covered in pretty flowers and tropical plants. Your home should be an oasis. Although I did cover it in a previous post, which you can find here, I always love raving about my favourite spots.

The Watering Can is magical throughout all the seasons, but I do have a soft spot for all the fall decor. That’s also the time of year when I put on my official PSL Queen Crown. It’s absolutely serene to walk around all the flourishing plant life in this massive building. While it was really hard to decide, I fell in love with a purple Platycodon flower and gave it a good home. Around the middle of the building, there’s also an old school hippie van with plants. If that thing was for sale, I’d bring it home in a heartbeat.

They have a cinnamon vanilla oat latte, which is always my drink of choice. I highly recommend checking it out on a regular basis because their seasonal menu items are out of this world. (You bet I’ll be there for pumpkin spice season.) You can explore this magical place online by clicking here to check out their website.
Until next time! On a side note, feel free to send me a message and tell me about your tried, tested, and true cafes, bakeries, etc.
