I had the honour of trying WingsUp! in St. Catharines, Ontario.
If you haven’t been to St. Catharines, it’s a hotspot for the food and wine industry. Especially being a prime location near Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake. Let’s dive into this gem on Scott Street.
Join Me for Dinner at WingsUp!
The location is the textbook definition of tiny, but mighty, since WingsUp! takes pride in focusing mainly on takeout and delivery options. That being said, there’s still seating by the window, so you can chow down with a friend while enjoying the finest and entertaining views of a St. Catharines parking lot. Also, I have to mention that the interior was super clean. As a Type A Virgo, this is a huge selling point for me.

Upon entering, I was instantly greeted. The staff at the St. Catharines location was beyond friendly and accommodating. You can tell that every single one of them is passionate and dedicated. They were genuinely happy to please their customers, and the service was impeccable.
Party animals will love the fact that WingsUp! in St. Catharines is open late. Get rowdy, then head out for late-night cravings on Fridays and Saturdays until midnight and Sunday to Thursday until 11pm.
I received more food than I could handle, which was awesome because that just means I have a meal for day two of my extravagant foodie adventure.

Starting off strong with the Multi-tizer. This is perfect for anyone who is indecisive. Try a little bit of everything from the deep-fried pickles, cheesy pirogies, jalapeño poppers, and my two favourites, mozzarella sticks and Mac and cheese wedges. I honestly could clear off a colossal batch of those Mac and Cheese wedges. Not only do they taste like my childhood, but they’re so comforting with every bite. It’s a feeling I can’t even describe in words. I guess you’ll just have to see for yourself.
The chicken is fresh, never frozen, so you can rest assured you’re getting a top-quality meal. Although there are 18 sauces to choose from, my flavour of choice is always honey garlic, and they really hit the spot. The crispy breading paired with the sweet sauce is truly a tasty symphony. Truth be told, I’m not a huge meat-eater, so the fact I’m gushing over this place means a lot.
Pair the chicken with one of the potato wedges, either regular, Cajun, or lemon pepper. I was feeling quite fancy, so I chose the lemon pepper wedges. They’re a beautiful blend of tangy and sour, but with a peppery bite. It’s such an underrated combination, and it went really well with the honey garlic wings.

Grab a stack of wipes, though, as these saucy badboys are messy, in the best way possible. My lightly colored jeans also had the opportunity to taste some of this delectable goodness. You guessed it, I got sauce on my light coloured jeans, not once, but twice. It’s safe to say, WingsUp! received the seal of approval from Canuck Kitchen and my clothes also gave it a thumbs up.
Finish off the feast with the mini cinnamon sugar donuts, and you’re in for a treat. They’re warm, pillow-soft, and perfectly sweet. I saved some for the next morning to dunk into my coffee, and let me tell you, that is one of the best ways to start the day.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I’ll definitely be back. I’m excited to try something new the next time I walk through those doors again. The food was incredible, and I’ll be dreaming about those Mac and cheese bites and donuts all month long.

This makes me want to go there right away.
As you should!! Get your hands on those chicken wings and Mac and cheese bites!! Let me know how your experience is 🙂
